DESCRIPTION: APW - Hamilton, low serial #70, Grade 932, 16J, 18S, nickel OF display case with Hamilton marked bezels, white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, nickel damascene, s#70. A beautiful example of a rarely offered two-digit serial number, this watch is listed in the Hamilton factory ledger with a finishing date of December 20th, 1893 and with a sales date of November 5th, 1896 to J.C. Burdick of Hornellsville, New York. From the Estate of Michael "Skip" Marrone.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surfaces, some small micro-fine scratches with majority being to balance cock foot; dial with some outer chapter hls between 3 and 4 as well as between 7 and 8, small edge flake under bezel near 2; fine hands, minute with some bend to its tip; case shows very light wear, some scratches to band near opening lip of bezel, no dents or dings; tight bow, crown shows very little wear; good glass crystals.
